Welcome to Pilton, Stoke Doyle and Wadenhoe

Pilton is an English civil parish within the unitary authority of North Northamptonshire

Pilton, Stoke Doyle & Wadenhoe Parish Council covers three villages or parishes in the Nene Valley all of whom are mentioned in the Domesday Book and used to be part of the Rockingham Forest. Pilton and Wadenhoe are conservation villages with medieaval limestone Churches but Stoke Doyle has an early 18th century Georgian Church. Each village has particular historical, environmental, biodiversity and green infrasftructure assets but they all share a common historical and agricultural heritage set in an undulating landscape of fields interspersed with pockets of woodland in the floodplain of the River Nene.
